Jordan Flippo
Actress | Producer | Musician
Hello! I’m Jordan.
Jordan is a New York City–based actress, producer, and musician whose work spans stage, screen, and six continents. She holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from New York University with a concentration in Musical Theater, and a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she triple minored in Producing, Filmmaking, and Music and graduated with honors in Theater Studies.
Originally from small-town Oklahoma, she grew up running barefoot across her family’s 100 acres and traveled the south competing in fiddle competitions. Jordan’s path to the arts began far from the industry, but that same adventurous spirit continues to define her career. Her work has taken her around the world, from performing Commedia dell’arte under the stars in Florence, Italy, to sleeping in the desert in Oman during a Warner Brothers International Tour. She is currently exploring glaciers and hiking up mountains as the resident performer at Tsaina Lodge in Valdez, Alaska.
Her acting work spans television, film, and stage, with notable roles including Miep Gies in the Off-Broadway musical adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank (US Premiere), originating the role of Mavis Jones in Leaving for a Loon (Valdez Follies), and serving as the female swing for Daphne, Velma, and Scooby in the international tour of Scooby Doo: Mystery at the Mall (Warner Brothers). She has performed at The Sydney Opera House, Villa La Pietra in Florence, and Carnegie Hall as a selected soloist, and regularly performs as a musician with guitar, fiddle, and vocals.
As a producer, Jordan landed a coveted mentorship with the lead producer of the Tony Award–winning musical Dear Evan Hansen, launching her into producing across film, television, and live performance. She recently worked on the upcoming pilot Good American Bitches, written by award-winning writer Talia Masiello in collaboration with Written House Productions. Her work extends into the live music space through collaborations with Bob Elliot’s Music Makers and production roles for Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp, featuring legendary artists including Foreigner’s Lou Gramm and Heart’s Nancy Wilson. She has produced shows at iconic NYC venues including 54 Below, The Cutting Room, The Bitter End, Green Room 42, and The Midnight Theatre. In 2023, she co-founded 24k Theatre Co. LLC alongside Lily Librach and Erin Brochu. https://www.24ktheatreco.com/
When she’s not performing or producing, she’s probably playing basketball, off exploring somewhere with no service, or chasing her next adventure—on stage, on a mountain, or somewhere in between. She also once ran an Avatar: The Last Airbender fan blog—which, in hindsight, totally tracks.
